“Heaven couldn’t be more wrong”
When he called a different woman answered, her sister. “There was an accident. She’s no longer with us. The funeral will be…” but the voice trailed off.
It dawned on him that he had given up the only other person that had brought him joy, happiness, but now she was gone. He wanted so much to entertain the world and grab the attention of thousands that he forgot about her. He threw her to the curb without a second thought, and now it was an action he couldn’t take back.
…
He drove to the highest mountain he could find, and planted a lily — her favorite — and he began to drink. Drink and curse the heavens.
How could they take her away?!
How dare they strike down someone with so much more to give?!
There were no answers to be had, however; only guilt, regret, and a hole where his love should have been.
And he knew it was his fault.
“heaven”
LISTEN NOW! Losing someone is hard, whether it’s a relationship ending or a life reaching it’s ultimate conclusion. “Heaven” is a beautiful song paying tribute to the loss, while simultaneously shouting to the heavens for their obviously wrong choice.

“Heaven” Lyric Sheet. The first verse was everything! That second verse took a little more work, but I LOVE this song in the end.
Lyrics
I said I’m with you all the way
We’ll be together for another day
Did you hear me?
Please stay
Imagine you with me on white sand
And it never got out of hand
Then let go of it all
In a new land
Hues of orange and pink fill your eyes
The most beautiful view is forever
I’ll remember you with flowers
I’ll remember you in song
You can’t go
Heaven couldn’t be more wrong
The innocence of youth drowned by age
An aeon over tear out that page
But it freed you
From that cage
I don’t want this change
I’ll remember you with flowers
I’ll remember you in song
You can’t go
Heaven couldn’t be more wrong
I’ll remember you with flowers
I’ll remember you in song
You can’t go
Heaven couldn’t be more wrong
Please don’t go
Please, Please, Please
Feel the wind blows through your spirit
It lifts you
To your next phase
I don’t want that change
I don't want that change
WHERE IT BEGAN
Beyond the addition of some ethereal guitar, there’s not a lot of change from the demo to the final for “Heaven”. It’s a song that was clearly visualized from the start, and all it needed was some fine-tuning and polish. Enjoy the alternate take!
